Cuenca Llano Panama Hat by Barranco - One of Ecuadors oldest and most famous panama hat companies This is a genuine, traditional Panama Hat sourced from one of the world's top brand Panama makers, in Cuenca, Ecuador, the original home of the Panama Hat. This hat is white with a traditional black band. It has a 6cm brim.

We hand selected these hats ourselves when visiting their shop, and met with the workers ensuring conditions and pay were sustainable and fair. A fair price was paid in person at the workshop during our visit. The weavers from the outlying villages near Cuenca, from whom they purchase the unfinished hats, are paid a price set by the weavers themselves.
