This listing is for  just a hotspot which can be used with any Visible compatible Android phone.  Just be aware that this listing is for the hotspot only and doesn't include a smartphone or service. You may find this setup to be faster for Internet and more convenient to make calls and send text messages too.

Say for instance you just need a phone when you are at work and the phone can also be your Internet connection when you're at home.

All you would need to do is plug in the USB cable like you would to charge it and allow it to communicate with the router and within a few seconds it would allow you to connect any number of devices to the Internet while you're at home.

Visible is a service that is part of the Verizon Network so it has a large coverage area in the United States.

Visible does have a 5Mbps cap for hotspots, but it can easily be bypassed with this setup.  

The speeds may vary, but are normally they are quite a bit faster than 5Mbps and can exceed 300Mbps.

The benefit is that the service only costs $25 a month.

I use Visible and other cellular services as my only link to the Internet have found that there are some real benefits to using Visible.

It is the cheapest service that I found for daily Internet use.

The data caps are easy to bypass so you don't need to have a team of rocket scientists to figure out how to tweak things to make service perform faster.

A possible drawback that can't be avoided with anyone with a Visible account is deprioritization which allows the Verizon customer paying much more than $25 a month is going to have a higher priority when required and it can't be avoided.  The benefit is that in rural areas have less competition for service too so you may never notice your connection is slightly slower for a short period of time.

We will need a week or more to order, setup and test the hotspot before shipping so it is ready to use once you receive it.

The only thing that should be required is a visible compatible phone and USB cable to connect to the router.

Before ordering you should know if you will have a signal and possibly have Verizon for your phone service.

If your unsure, please contact us first as there are resources to look up Verizon towers that are close to where live.

There are options for antennas that might improve the signal, but they will cost more and we don’t carry many of them, but can advise on what might work.

You can also go with a different carrier service, but not at the same price.

There are also options to utilize multiple carriers so if you already have cable or DSL and just want have something as a backup we can provide those resources for you.

If you’re more mobile and can only use wireless, we can still provide a dual connection solution.

We can’t be responsible if your account is terminated because of high data usage, so if you know you might use a lot of data possibly Terabytes in a month, you might want to consider spending a bit more money and getting two accounts either with the same carrier or with different carriers.
