William Carlos Williams (1883-1963) was an American poet, and physician closely associated with modernism and imagism. In addition to writing, Williams was a physician practicing both pediatrics and general medicine. William's poetry is strongly associated with the American modernist movement in literature and saw his poetic project as distinctly American. He sought to renew language through the fresh, raw idiom that grew out of America's cultural and social heterogeneity. This edition of Williams's poetry is in good condition, with the original dust jacket.
