This uncirculated 25 Lebanese livre note is a standard circulation note issued by the Bank of Lebanon. It is a brown, yellow, orange, purple, and blue note that is dated 25 August 1983, bears the signatures of Joseph Oughurlian and Michel El Khoury, and measures 150 mm x 80 mm. Its obverse side features the remains of the 13th century Citadel at Sea and the Mosque in the Port of Saida. Its reverse side shows the stone footbridge and ruins of the 17th century Mseilha Fort atop a rocky mountain in Batroun. Security features include a solid segmented security thread and a watermark of a lion head. The note was eventually demonetized.
