The Nepal 500 Rupees Banknote was issued by the Nepal Rastra Bank in 2016. The note is predominantly brown and violet. On its obverse is Mount Everest, the god Indra, the Mount Amadablam and Thyangboche monastery. It also shows wood carvings and clouds. The reverse of the note depicts the bank logo and a walking tiger. The note contains a 4-mm wide windowed security thread with a demetallized NRB and watermark that reveals a rhododendron. The note is 160 x 70 mm in size and is signed by Chiranjivi Nepal. This particular paper bill is in uncirculated condition.
