Cypress 10 Frame Standard Inner Cover with Feeder Hole 

Our Standard Inner Cover goes under the “Telescoping Outer Cover” and provides:

• An upper entrance that helps when it’s hot or there is a heavy honey flow.
•   An optional method of feeding your bees.
• Includes the mason jar cap but not the jar.

How is it constructed?

• Rough cut yellow pine is planed to a perfect .75" thickness. 
• The rails and sides are 1.5” wide and a groove is cut down the center to embed the plywood. A 3/4" entrance is cut into one of the sides.
• The plywood is slightly less the .25” thick and is cut to length and width.  A hole approximately 2.8” wide is cut into the plywood to hold the mason jar lid.  
• 1.5" 16-gauge nails and Titebond wood glue are used to secure the frame around the plywood.
