This necklace was designed by my mother, took her several years to collect the antique amber and others from antique and bead shows in New York and/or Florida area 40 to 50 years ago, their origins unknown.
It was then professionally hand strung with vintage sterling silver beads and hardware, it's weight is 1-lb & 9-1/2oz.
She cannot remember exactly what other types of beads were used besides the amber, so I am guessing that the round carved beads may be carnelian or agate, some round ones look to be agate, and the topaz colored discs appear maybe glass.
The amber beads run from yellow to reddish brown to dark brown, with some translucency, I am not an expert, so If you have any requests for additional photos or in particular close ups, feel free to ask.
