The West African States 500 Francs Banknote was issued by the Central Bank of West Africa in 2022 for Mali. It has a combination of brown and orange with multicolored underprint. Its obverse depicts a Sawfish–shaped brass weight used by the Ashanti people for weighing gold dust; It also show a hand touching a touch tablet PC and an outline map of Africa. The reverse depicts two hippotami. The note contains a sawfish watermark and is 114 x 60 mm in size. It also bear the signatures of Tiemoko Meyliet Kone and Sani Yaya. This particular note is in uncirculated condition.
