I paid $435.00 for these 32 years ago in 1991.  I am downsizing and its time fo say farewell to these old friends. Bose was famous for their quality and tight tolerances and these speakers are true to that ethos. The crossovers have been matched to each set of drivers for every speaker which gives an extremely tight tolerance of .5 % which is the reason for their famous "ruler flat" frequency response. These have matching pair numbers 99511, as they were selected by Bose to match perfectly.I have never driven them with anything approaching 150 watts and they are acoustically pristine.  The black housings show evidence of several moves, and a few corners have busted edfes as well as some few drops of paint from an old remodel.  Cosmetically, I rate then 8 on a10 scale and being black, still look pretty good!
