The Relating Game

An inquiry inspired process for creating a vibrant, dynamic, sustainable relationship. The game is for individuals and couples who want to create relationships of deeper intimacy and meaningful connection.

The game offers the framework for creating and designing relationships customized specifically for your needs and desires. Players have the opportunity to design a relationship future for themselves that informs their choices as they move forward, or to co-create a delightful, fulfilling shared future.

The deck includes four “suits”:

Domains: These cards represent concerns that are relevant to all of us. These cards can be used to point toward a new future you want to create or to address specific challenges you are currently experiencing.

Conversations for Intimacy: This suit offers questions that open an exploration into topics that may never have occurred to you to discuss, and may surprise you, as well as bring you closer. A sure cure for the occasional ‘boredom blues” that can deaden a relationship.

Practices for Intimacy: This part of the deck leads you in partner practices to enhance connection and deepen intimacy. They can be used anytime and they offer an easy introduction to using the deck.

Competencies: The competency cards are a wonderful way for you to see which partnering skills you already possess, and which you may want to grow to reach toward the future you want to create. They also offer the opportunity for partners to express their appreciation to each other for the skills they observe in each other.
