General purpose, 12 volt, 40 amp, make/break relay with diode.

Type A terminal layout, (terminals 30 and 86 are transposed) see diagram.  Found on Ford and BMW vehicles.

Genuine Durite, part no: 0-727-64

(This relay is fitted with a diode in parallel with the coil, so terminal 85 must be negative and terminal 86 must be positive)

4 x 6.3mm terminals.

Rated at 40 amps.

Can be used for general purpose switching of lighting, horns, etc.

The diode disperses the back emf created when the relay coil is turned off and allows the relay to be safely switched by electronic components.

"Mini" size with metal bracket.
