This sketch is hand drawn by Simpsons storyboard/animation artists Raymond D. Persi and Alex Ruiz.
Persi has also gone on to have a successful voice over career (Flash & Officer Higgins in Zootopia, Mayor Gene in Wreck It Ralph).
This piece was drawn during a live demonstration in the Simpsons offices
(located on the 20th Century Fox lot) in the early 2000’s.
It’s been kept in a smoke-free home since.
