The China 100 Yuan Banknote was issued by the People’s Bank of China in 2015 to commemorate Aerospace Science and Technology. It has a color combination of blue. purple, and green. Its obverse features the national emblem of the PRC, the Dongfanghong I satellite in SPARK, Shenzhou 9 manned spacecraft rendezvous and docking with Tiangong 1 space station, and Chang’e 1 lunar orbiting spacecraft. the reverse is in a vertical orientation and bears Mongolian, Tibetan, Uyghur, and Zhang text. It also shows the advancement of a flight represented by a bird, a Joe Guey biplane, a twin-engine jet airliner, Shenzhou 9 and Tiangong-1, and Chang’e 1. The note contains a windowed security thread with printed*100*, a watermark that reveals Dongfanghong 1 satellite and an electrotype 100, and the denomination as a registration device. It is 155 x 77 mm in size. This commemorative banknote is in uncirculated condition.
