Curse of the Baby Monster April 1987 Starhead Presents #2 Comic Book by the Iconic punk rock legendary artist R.K.Sloane.
It's Alive! Black and White Interior from underground publisher, Starhead Comix.

The Curse of the Baby Monster' is about a young male scientist called Jimmy Johnson who injects his baby sisters Lettuce Leaf Doll with a formula in the hopes to finding out the secrets of life.

Artist, R.K.Sloane was an American underground comix artist who was prominent within the low brow art scene. He designed many memorable band flyers and rock album covers over the years. Sloane's work was in Rat Fink Comics in the 80s starring Ed Roth's famous hot rod icon made famous in the hot rod movement of the 50s/60s.

Not a professional grader.  What can I say.. this comic is grimey and shows its age..but it kind of suits it. There are significant marks, flaws, dents, creases scratches, stains and spots.. There is a cover corner that is clearly bent. There is nothing written on cover or interior pages and none of the pages within are falling out but it is worn. The interior spine seems stained maybe by rust (?) from staples. Not sure. Spine of covers are creased and show obvious signs of reading...over and over again. Most notably at bottom of front cover there are multiple (razor?) cuts on cover that do not go through cover but almost. There are plenty of imperfections due to the age of this comic and some damage due to storage.. Corner and spine damage apparent.  Interior pages are discolored and yellowing particularly near spine. But DANG! what a read. The cover alone rocks me. There is No one like R.K.Sloane . Great Reading of a Comic of Legend!  Bagged and Boarded.
