The Colombia 1,000 Peso Coin was issued by the Republic of Colombia between 2012 and 2021. Featured on its obverse are a latent image and the initials that read BRC or MIL, depending on the point of view. It also shows the country name, the value, the date, and a micro text which translates as “Taking care of the water”. The reverse of the coin depicts a loggerhead turtle. This bimetallic coin has a nickel-brass center and an aluminum-bronze ring. It weighs 9.95 grams and has a diameter of 26.7 mm. This particular coin is in mint condition.
