On September 9, 1882, during a visit to the exhibition by the Sovereign Emperor and the Sovereign Empress with the August Family, the head of the company, Albert Ivanovich Hamburger, presented the Sovereign Emperor Alexander III with a large thermometer as a gift. As a result of the exhibition, the company was awarded the highest award of the Russian Empire - the right to depict the State Emblem on its products.
