This
machine is most ideal for and has been set up with a new Linux
user/tinkerer in mind. The XFCE version of Manjaro Linux is
lightweight but well-featured and works well on this older machine
(tested as running smoothly on a LG smart TV via HDMI).
Three
things have been swapped out of this machine from its initial factory
build configuration (everything else original is included):
Power Supply (upgraded to 600W)
HDD (downgraded to 320GB but includes a secondary 1 TB HDD)
Windows 8.1 replaced with manjaro-xfce-24.2.1-241216-linux612 (fully updated and tweaked for new user as of 3/14/2025)
1 Add-On Included: 1 TB Secondary Seagate HDD (readily accessible on the current OS)
Comes with: some Lenovo original materials, power cable, and the instructions for the replacement power supply (see pics).
Type: 10091 / Configuration: 57311460 / Family: H430
8GB RAM, CPU i5 3330 3.0, 64-bit
has DVD RW drive and HDMI Intel HD port plus others (see pics for all ports)
Tower (case) dimensions: 16.5 x 14.5 x 7 / Weight: 17 lbs.
NOTE: The outside/casement round part of the power button is a little sticky/depressed but still works if you lean into it a little.
No peripherals included, just the tower, power cable, the listed internal components, instructions, and Lenovo Desktop Drivers DVD.
The PC was always powered off when not in use and carefully vacuumed internally every once in a while. Tested and working as described above.
