Pages have age-related toning and foxing. Hinges have minimal wear, and pages remain attached with generally good support throughout all three volumes. Some pencil inscriptions from a previous owner. Please see photographs and ask any questions prior to purchasing.
This is an incomplete set of the first three of Strabo’s work republished in the original Ancient Greek. Strabo was a Greek geographer, philosopher, and historian who lived in Asia Minor as the Roman Republic turned into the Roman Empire. This set, while incomplete would make a great addition to the personal library of anyone who enjoys ancient sources. Any issues with hinges or binding due to age or wear could provide an excellent opportunity for restoration or rebinding, if desired.
