It provides historical information about the tribe from the perspective of its members. There are black-and-white illustrations throughout.
The book is in very good condition, with no dust jacket. The green cloth boards show a small amount of wear, a little "bubbling" to the cloth at front bottom. There are a couple marks to the first page, another to the third page (written hard enough to indent two subsequent pages). The binding is tight.
