From 1974 to 1980, The number (311) 555-2368 appeared on the black hardwired Western Electric 2500 push button phone during the opening credits of the Rockford Files.  This listing is for a faithful recreation of this card (as seen in the screen shot  last photo of the listing).  This fictional number was also used in Western Electric print adds and other TV shows and movies such as The Bionic Woman, Ghostbusters, the Mod Squad and Mannix.

Faded black numbers with darker black printing on an off white sepia tone will be used to give your card an aged appearance using specific fonts that replicate a vintage dial card printed on repurposed thin cardstock.  I make these cards with a little extra length to make sure they do not slip out of the designation strip area of your particular phone like the originals sometimes do.  This particular style might have been used on Trimline phones, Princess phones, or 1500 or 2500 pushbutton phones.

I am happy to send multiples of the exact same design and exact same  phone number at a discount when specified at the time of your initial order using the discount button. Please see my other listings: I have two different styles of designation cards and four different styles of custom dial cards available for phones from different eras.

Your card will fit Western Electric, Northern Electric, ITT and others using a designation strip under a clear plastic cover. These will fit some Stromberg Carlson and Automatic Electric designation card spots as well.  PHONE AND PLASTIC COVER ARE  NOT INCLUDED IN THIS SALE.
