This fine and impressive antique bar brooch has been crafted in 18K White Gold.
The bar brooch is ornamented to the centre with the "Patriarchal Cross" or "Cross of Lorraine", embellished with fourteen channel set French cut rubies.
The pierced decorated, shaped frame that surrounds the central two-barred cross is accented with eight pavé set eight-cut diamonds, and framed by a border composed of twenty calibre cut black onyx.
The bar to either side of the central setting are set with a further eighteen pavé set eight-cut diamonds, and four calibre cut black onyx to the terminals.
The brooch secures to the reverse with a hinged pin and push fit clasp.
This antique diamond and ruby bar brooch has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 18K Gold.
The bar brooch is supplied with an IDGL diamond grading report card.
