We have for sale a copy of a quality black and white photo we recently obtained of the North Melbourne Locomotive Depot, the photo is taken from the footbridge that spanned the lines in North Melbourne from Railway Place across to the North Melbourne Locomotive Depot, this was a great spot to watch trains departing both the Melbourne Goods Yard and the Passenger Yard, plus to watch the E Class, D4 Class and Y Class shunting engines working, the date is 19/6/1960, at this time there were still a large number of steam hauled goods train departures from Melbourne Goods Yard plus passenger trains from Spencer Street to various locations throughout Victoria,     the photo is a 6x4 glossy black and white print, postcard size
