2020 Zenith Football revives the brand that originated in the late ’90s with Pinnacle. The last time it was seen on the gridiron was 2005. This time around, it’s getting an online-only release available through Panini’s website.
Zenith took Pinnacle to the high-end. But what was premium 15 and 20 years ago is a lot different that now. So the update brings with it a focus on autographs and memorabilia cards. Hobby boxes have one pack of six cards. Three of these cards are hits.
2020 Zenith Football Overview
With 80 cards, the base set may not be the biggest of the year (or even close to it) but it’s not an easy build, either. Boxes come with one veteran or legend and one rookie. That makes finding individual cards somewhat challenging.
Rookie Patch Autographs fall one per box. Basic versions have one swatch. For parallels, more pieces are added, topping out at one-of-one versions that have five different relics.
Each case of Zenith has Rookie Patch Autographs from two of the following: Joe Burrow, Justin Herbert, Jerry Jeudy, CeeDee Lamb, Jordan Love, Henry Ruggs III, Tua Tagovailoa or Chase Young.
Hobby boxes have one additional autograph and one memorabilia card. Relic themes include Z-Jerseys and Team Summit, which have swatches from three different players from the same franchise.
Base parallels and inserts combine to land one per box. Among the inserts is Z-Team, which was part of the brand’s early days.
