ALDER "PINE" CONES
Approx 500+ cones - You will receive one completely filled quart-sized ziploc bag.

Freshly collected, naturally dropped cones.  These adorable alder "pine" cones come from the forest near my home in the Pacific Northwest. 

Details

The cones are typically 3-4 per branch, but some will be singles, etc.  They are rich brown in color with some being lighter and some darker.  They are perfectly tiny - individual cones average around 1/2 inch long.  See photos for typical arrangement, color and size.

Cones are completely natural and untreated - no pesticides or chemicals of any kind! We do our very best to gather unbroken cones.

Each ziploc quart bag is completely filled, which is typically over 500 individual cones. (The exact number is sometimes more, sometimes less - but you will get a full bag.)

Uses

Great for crafts!  Wreaths, Potpourri, Christmas, Art, School Projects, Doll House Decor, etc

You can also use these in your fish tank to condition the aquarium by lowering the pH.  Food for shrimp and antibacterial properties for fish eggs, shrimp eggs and overall fish health.
