What story could these two figurines tell us? Which one comes first? The lonely lady playing the lute on her pretty sofa, wishing for a beau to appear in her life? The second figurine shows him coming courting with a bouquet of flowers and hat in his hand. The two little flaws: The top is missing on the lute in the single figurine, and - just when the suitor arrives in the second figurine, she has a bad hair day (the blue bow is missing).
Both figurines have a golden anchor mark on the bottom, but I'm not a porcelain expert to say if these are original Chelsea figurines.
Please zoom in on the photos and admire the pretty details.
The sofa in both figurines measures 3" long, and it is 2" high.
