This exceptional antique ViCtorian sterling silver soup ladle has a King"s shaped, Hourglass pattern handle.
The anterior and posterior surfaces of the handle is embellished with the classic King"s shape ornamentation, including the shell design to the terminal, in addition to the central hourglass design; this hourglass device is the distinguishing feature of the pattern.
This fine example of ViCtorian flatware has a plain rounded bowl with an impressive diamond heel to the reverse surface.
