The Argentina 500,000 Pesos Banknote was introduced by the Central Bank between 1980 and 1983. On the obverse of this green banknote is a portrait of Jose de San Martin. The reverse features soldiers with muskets, a man carrying a flagpole, a cleric with a cross, a man rising a sword, s pillar, indigenous people, a tent, and horsemen as seen in the painting “Segunda Fundacion de Buenos Aires” by Jose Moreno Carbonero. The reverse also shows the coat of arms of Argentina. The note does not contain a security thread and a watermark that reflects a sunburst pattern. It is 155 x 75 mm in size and was printed by the Casa De Moneda. This paper bill is in uncirculated condition.
