ANTHRACITE GREY WP70 Silicone Sealant is the perfect product for your next project. It’s professional grade, low modulus, neutral cure silicone has an good adhesion properties and cures rapidly. RTV adhesive and sealant is unaffected by UV, ozone, salt water immersion and extreme temperatures. It contains no fungicides or oils that may allow water to leach and has good durability characteristics. Used in construction for perimeter external sealing of wood, aluminium and PVCu door and window frames as well as weather sealing infil panels. WP70's additional PVCu adhesion promoters make this product an ideal choice for PVCu window fitters as well as the home DIY enthusiast!

You can use it on windows & doors where there are gaps between glass & frame or where movement occurs due to temperature changes etc., such as around skylights & rooflights; at expansion joints; under sills; on gable ends/soffits etc.; under eaves etc.; at ventilators/airbricks; around chimneys; on conservatories (in conjunction with flashing); at ground floor level (to provide protection against damp penetration). This versatile silicone will also adhere to most common building materials including brickwork, concrete block work, plasterboard walls & ceilings (including render), metal surfaces such as steel sheeting or corrugated iron sheets).

Limitations

WP70 is not suitable for use with aquaria, for aquariums and fishtanks we recommend HA6 Marine Silicone. WP70 is not suitable for use on bitumen, asphalt, natural stone or self-cleaning glass and over-painting is not recommended.
