DescriptionThis impressive antique Victorian English sterling silver presentation bowl has a plain rounded form onto a circular domed spreading foot.
The body of this antique bowl is encircled with impressive chased scrolling leaf decoration accented with simplified floral sprays.
The decoration to the body of the bowl incorporates a scrolling bordered vacant shaped cartouche to either side.
The shaped rim of this antique presentation bowl is encompassed with applied stylised gadroon decoration accented with eight mask designs above a plain pensile pendant drop motif to eah incurve.
The domed portion of the foot is encircled with chased leaf designs and textures.
This Victorian sterling silver bowl was crafted by the renowned London silversmith Charles Stuart Harris.

ConditionThis antique presentation bowl is a very good gauge of silver, excellent quality and in excellent presentation condition.
The applied and chased decoration is all very sharp.
Full hallmarks have wear in keeping with age and location, but remain legible.
Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of this piece of Victorian silverware.
