ABOUT THE ARTIST: Gerda Christoffersen, internationally know artist, was born in Denmark and educated in Danish and Canadian Schools. She now resides in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Over a period of 25 years she has produced paintings of the mood and soul of the North American Indians, as seen only by one who is intimately familiar with their customs and way of life. She was adopted by Sitting Eagle and her title in Sioux is Princess O-Hazee-Tah. Her works are part of international collections of note, i.e. Presidents, Governors and appreciative collectors the world over. 

This is part of my Grandfather-in-Law's collection that has been in climate controlled, smoke free storage since his passing 2006. He had been an admirer of all things Native American. All proceeds go to my MIL and her sister. The piece is a little dusty, but still in displayable condition.Please see photos for details. Contact me with any additional questions.
