"The Rocky and Bullwinkle Show" was an animated variety show comedy series featuring a moose, Bullwinkle, and a flying squirrel, Rocky (plus their friends) as early as 1959. Featured in this listing is the plush of one of the evil antagonists from the show - the Russian-like spy, Boris Badenov. Boris was originally voiced by Paul Frees. His name, Badenov, was a pun on the 16th-century Russian Tsar Boris Godunov.
Vintage plushie with original tags and produced in 1999 by the Stuffins, Inc. company for sale exclusively at CVS Stores. Boris is @ 7" tall.
Made in 1999 so his bright white skin isn't as white as it used to be due to storage and display. It is particularly noticeable on top of nose and ears. A little bit dingy and yellowing. Some loose stitching/threads and fuzziness from being sewn but nothing where the integrity of doll is sacrificed. A portion of original hang tag has torn off and a part of hangtag has a fold in it. CVS sales sticker still applied to the top of the hang tag. Plushie's manufacturing tag is still attached but material has aged.
