This specific ball was used in the top of the 5th inning - pitched by former Oakland ace Frankie Montas a total of 11 times to 4 Houston batters- -1st, this specific ball was used for 3 pitches to record a Yuli Gurriel line-out to centerfield. -Next, the ball was pitched 3 times and struck for a single to centerfield by Astros star rookie SS, Jeremy Pena. For Pena, this was his 43rd career hit. -Next, Jason Castro was struck out by Montas on 3 pitches.... -And finally, Chas McCormick would see the ball pitched twice to him and removed from play with a 1-1 count after a pitch in the dirt.
