This
is a wonderful antique darning or mending sampler, showing various darning techniques, stitched with red and blue thread on cotton cloth.
The sampler is Dutch and dates from circa 1920. It is signed 'T d V'.
It measures approximately 7 1/4 x 7 1/4 inches or 18.5 x 18.5 cm.
The sampler is in good condition, considering its age. It was folded for a certain period of time. The cloth is a little bit dirty, mostly near the folds.If you have any questions or would like more or larger pictures, please don't hesitate to contact me.
