The Fiji 88 Cents Banknote was introduced in 2022 to commemorate the God of Wealth and the money tree that brings good luck and prosperity. The obverse features a hibiscus and the coat of arms of Fiji. The reverse features the God of Wealth, a money tree, and various coins. The note contains a watermark that reveals a hibiscus flower and an electrotype 88. It also has a holographic PUREIMAGE windowed security thread with demetallized 88 and diamonds. The banknote is 156 x 76 mm in size and is signed by the Reserve Bank of Fiji’s governor, Faizul Ariff Ali. This commemorative banknote is in uncirculated condition.
