Most disk manufactures have software that works with their particular disk so that would be the recommended option to securely wipe any solid state disk that supports it.  This software might be better geared to be used by a technician who may have just wipe many disks before selling or reinstalling any software.

If your looking to securely wipe any disk media except removable media, this software might be what you need. While some computer systems have BIOS support for securely erasing a SSD that supports that feature, many other systems may not have any support in the BIOS to perform a secure erase of an SSD.

The only thing you should be aware of is that the purpose of the software is to securely wipe mechanical Hard drives as well as Solid state SSD or NVME drives in parallel and without input from the user in most cases. in addition, if the drive secure erase fails, you may end up with a difficult to boot system that will ask for a password. Like any software it may have bugs and may fail just like any other software of this type including older tools like DBAN which haven't been updated in over seven years and shouldn't even be used on solid state drives.  The software should in most cases be able to perform the function it is intended to do and that is securely erase a disk so it would be very difficult for anyone else to retrieve any sensitive data of the drive later.  The inherent risks are just higher when trying to wipe a solid state drive with a password and it doesn't matter what the method that is used to securely wipe the media as anything can fail.

Features

Parallel wiping if multiple disks exist
Quick validation that the disk was wiped by placing a string on the disk thrice and ensuring it was removed
ISO Built on Ubuntu 18.04 Bionic for hardware support
Selects the correct wipe type for a disk
NVMe Secure Erase using nvme-cli on NVMe disks
SATA Secure Erase on Disks that support it (Typically SSDs)
Detects if the drive is "frozen" by the OS and will enter sleep mode to unfreeze it
Shred using Random or Zeros if none of the above are supported

As GPL software, it is only offered to you on a bootable media and your only paying for the media and our time to assemble it for you.
