Roller shutters
are made of aluminium foam filled profiles. The slats are
39mm height. The coating has a very good colour fastness and is highly
resistant to abrasion and is resistant to weathering.

Check our website on how to measure or send us photos of your
door/window we will help you with measurements and mounting options:
Roller shutter operated by coiler
mechanism
and belt or cord. The roller shutter can be installed externally or
internally if it is installed outside then belt or strap must be pulled
through the wall (drilling through required).

-
Coiler Mechanisms
are available in white, brown, anthracite and golden oak colour.

- Belts
or Cords
- both work in the same way. The cord requires a smaller hole through
the wall if the shutter is fitted outside.
Available colours for the belt: white,
grey, anthracite, black.
Available colours for the cord: brown, golden oak, black and
white

recess.

- Saving energy, security and
privacy:
So
far, roller shutters have often been considered as a luxurious and
decorative element, but lacking essential functions. Roller shutters
significantly contribute to the reduction of heat loss in winter, while
in summer they effectively protect the interior from overheating.
External roller shutters are far more efficient than ordinary curtains,
because due to their design, between the surface of the window and the
curtain there is a sort of airbag which is an excellent insulator. Even
at high temperatures outside, we will experience a pleasant coolness at
home. If we leave the shutters closed on a hot day, in the evening we
can enjoy a pleasant and relaxing chill and shadow.
In addition roller
shutters provide protection against intruders or curious eyes of
neighbours, but they also constitute a barrier against unwanted noise
from the outside and at the same time darken the room. Thanks to the
roller
shutters from us, the home becomes a place where we feel comfortable,
safe and to which we return with pleasure after a tough day knowing
that it will offer us peace and shelter.
- Thermal camera pictures:

Window

shutter.
Window with roller
shutter closed.
The above pictures show Insufficient
thermal
insulation, where the blue colour shows high heat losses. The picture
with the roller shutter closed shows the
window with good insulation and without loss of heat. External roller
shutters are much more effective than ordinary curtains or Venetian
blinds thanks to their design, between the surface of the window and
the
curtain is a sort of airbag which is an excellent supplementary
insulator.
If we leave roller
shutters closed on all (hot) days as Italians do than in the evening,
we can
enjoy pleasant coolness. Currently, the companies producing roller
shutters are focused on thermal insulation, high technical
specification and the introduction of intelligent control system.
