How it works:
-Select your model and issue from the drop down menu and purchase. -Upon purchase of this listing we will send you our address (please allow up to 24 hours),
a repair number in which to mail your device to, and detailed instructions (Read them thoroughly!) -Once your device is received, your item will typically be repaired within 5 business days.
-A website will be provided so you can easily check the status of your repair! -Return USPS Priority Mail shipping is included in the cost (even if the listing states first class).
Repair Details:
You will read many sources that state "just replace the capacitor(s)". While this can be true, 8/10 times we find these
devices have much more wrong with them, and capacitors may only be a short term solution.
Some will say to upgrade capacitor values, however, there are other items downstream that must be changed
as well for this method to prove reliable or even work correctly.

repair covers both power and communication issues.
Included
in this repair is the replacement of all electrolytic capacitors
failed or not, and replacement of any failed components including diodes, resistors, rectifiers, optocouplers, rs232
chips, film capacitors, poly capacitors, and even jacks.

Replacement and upgrade of all electrolytic capacitors (failed or not) and components downstream, replacement of poly capacitors (failed or not), replacement of voltage regulator(s), replacement of Serial/RJ45 connector or USB jack, re-soldering of all components, replacement of any other components out of factory specifications.
Note: We had to change the name to "refresh" as eBay's listing algorithm considered "refurbish" a condition.

"Out of Stock": Out of stock indicates we are at capacity for repairs. If devices are listed out of stock, please check back soon.
Terms: If your item has suffered fire damage, liquids spills, flooding, or is physically damaged please contact us first. Such devices will otherwise be returned.
If you have attempted to repair the device, contact us first with detailed photos. If traces have been broken or mounting points have been burnt, take close up detailed photos of theses areas. Otherwise, such devices will be returned. Note: Devices with traces/mounting points near C7 or C8 that have been burnt by poor soldering skills are often NOT salvageable.
If for some reason your item cannot be repaired, we will contact you stating so. We will refund your money, minus return shipping cost.

Items are typically repaired within 5 business days unless otherwise stated above or in private message. In some cases, we may need additional time and we will contact you.
Shipping (Time):
Our listing indicates a 20 day handling time. This is only so we do not get dinged on shipping time with eBays calculators, as we cannot provide a return tracking number until your device arrives to us!
(5 business days for you to get us the item, 5 business days for us to repair and test, 5 business days for return shipping, 5 business days of leeway.)
Shipping (USA): Return shipping via USPS Priority Mail is included in the cost.
The listing may state USPS 1st class, but return shipping will be USPS Priority Mail.
Some have asked "why just USPS?". USPS provides free packing and free daily pickup. Fedex and UPS do not offer free packaging, and charge per pickup. The profit margin on our services is small. Shipping and handling through USPS keeps our costs low, which we pass on to you.)

In our experience, can be quite slow, but is far more affordable.
Other Info: Some have asked if we use higher voltage electrolytic capacitors... Main power capacitors are bumped from 250v to 450v in most applications to better protect against power surges. Other capacitors, both eletrolytic and poly, voltage values are increased where needed.
There are more to capacitors than their farad and voltage ratings, and we have taken all factors into consideration in our component selection and repair process. Depending on the PLM version, farad ratings may be changed, and additional surrounding components may be added.
We use high grade components, "hand picked" and hand tested, with the highest temperature and highest available hour ratings to prevent future failures. Our components are sourced from authorized resellers. We attempt to purchase as much as we can from American suppliers and manufactures, however it's not always possible to source what is needed in one country. Most of our capacitors are rated for 8000 or more hours at 105c.
