 German China Head Doll All Original.

Rare to find in this large size of almost 22" !!

Most are found rather small.

This through my research was back in the day refered to as  " The Queen Mother" now called "Butterfly Hair".

Original antique bloomers and half slip.

Her two piece red day dress is original to this doll. It is obviously worn with age  but in a fragile state. The top more fragile then the skirt. I will include a antique navy blue hooded cape that is period to this doll. It looks great on her. No room here for picture but to serious inquiries I can send you picture of her wearing it.

Now to her body. Its stable no leaks as it is here now infront of me. A chemise has been sewn on it . I just pulled it down her shoulders for pictures. One leg sadly has old break that someone filled. And fingers on one hand broken off. She is a very old doll, made by Hertwig circa 1864 on .

I have no history on her . Its been in my personal collection for at least 17 years Im guessing. Pretty sure I bought it off RubyLane.

Two sew holes on her perfect condition head. Some paint wear that is expected with age as seen in photos.

ebay asking specifics need fixed. There are not enough. They dont have more then 20 inches?? This doll is 22"

They also under material its made of do not have CHINA ?? Thats crazy  I had to choose Porcelain. Its not porcelain its obviously made of China.
