This uncirculated 20 Egyptian pound note is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Central Bank of Egypt. It is a green, purple, pink, and brown note that is dated, bears the signature of Tarek Hassan Amer, and measures 155 mm x 70 mm. Its obverse side features the Muhammad Ali Pasha Mosque in Cairo. Its reverse side shows Ramesses II with a bow and arrow in a war chariot, bas relief carvings from the Chapel of Sesostris I, and a stylized papyrus flower. Security features include an Eye of Horus registration device, a 1.5-mm wide solid security thread with demetallized denomination in Arabic, a 4-mm wide windowed security thread with demetallized 20, twenty pounds in Arabic, and coat of arms, and a watermark of Princess Nofret with an electrotype 20.
