Impressive COPY of a Nicolo Gagliano 1735. This old violin, crafted around the mid-1800s, (according with two world experts) is a remarkable copy of a Nicolò Gagliano instrument. With its rich heritage and exquisite craftsmanship, it carries the essence of the classical violin tradition. The violin exhibits a warm and resonant sound quality, delivering enchanting tones that captivate both the player and the audience. The instrument features a rich brown color and is made from high-quality maple wood with a varnish finish. It has four strings and is a 4/4 size, perfect for advanced or expert players.
The violin comes with several accessories, including a hard case, peg, bridge, and chinrest. It weighs 1.1 lb and measures 23 inches in length, 8 inches in width, and 3.5 inches in height. The violin is handmade and was manufactured in the year 1850, although the country of origin is unknown. This is a fantastic instrument for anyone looking for a high-quality vintage violin.
While already possessing great potential, this instrument would benefit from a few adjustments, such as the placement of a sound post. It had a neck replacement as far as we know. With these refinements, its true potential can be fully realized, allowing it to flourish as a magnificent violin capable of producing captivating music. I’m selling from my collection.
