Clean and intact, well made and well kept. Making cinnabar is a very complicated, long process which involving repeatedly coating and drying.  This vase has two different kinds of coating, black and red, each needs many layers until it's about 2-3 mm thick.  Then hand carved the red layer, reach to the black layer as the background.
