Airboy is an aviator hero from an American comic book series published during the Golden Age of Comics by Hillman Periodicals.  Airboy reappeared in the 1980s in some new high flying adventures because of comic book writer, Chuck Dixon. The new modern series stars the son of the original Airboy, David Nelson II.  When the original Airboy was murdered, his son Davy Nelson III takes over the cockpit to avenge his father. Chuck Dixon scripted most of the books with the occasional assistance from artist,Tim Truman and other illustrators Ron Randall and Stan Woch. 

Not a professional grader. I can only say these comics are  pretty good reading copies. There are no significant marks, scratches or obvious abuse to the comics. Nothing has been written on cover or pages and none of the pages are falling out. There are some imperfections due to age and some damage due to storage but nothing jarring. Possible corner and spine damage on a few of the books. But despite all that and the 35+ years of age, they are in fairly good condition to read and keep in your collection. Bagged and Boarded.
