Here is a Vintage Women's LEONARD French TOP, Pink & Red Flowers on Dark Blue, Silk Jersey.
It belonged to my Mother in the 70's, and I wore it after her. I absolutely love this top, but it became too small for me, unfortunately.
It is a Leonard Top, the motifs are very typical of Leonard, Paris.
Also the material is a slightly stretchy jersey made of silk, Leonard always used some silk for their jerseys, then.
It has a V-Neck and one slit at the bottom of each side.
Look at the beautiful floral motifs!
It needs to be hand-washed, or in a delicate cycle, and also to air dry.
Size:
The Size is a M/L,
but nothing is written regarding the Size, this is why I highly recommend that you check the measurements below before ordering.
Measurements without stretching the Fabric:
From shoulder to very bottom: 21 1/2"
at the back it is 3/8" longer than the front.
From one shoulder seam to the other shoulder seam: 15 3/4"
From one armpit to the other armpit: 18"
From one seam to the other seam at the waist; 17"
From one seam to the other at the very bottom: 19"
Length of each side slit: 4 1/2"
From the armpit to the end of each sleeve: 3 1/4"
Width of each sleeve when laid flat: 5 1/4"
Condition: It is possible that the slits on the sides have been created by the owner before me, to make more room on the hips. At the back, some blue stitches are going on the purple edge, but this comes from the handmade fabrication. It will need to be better gently ironed, but overall, very good vintage condition, please, check the photos as well.
