With this 3-pronged diamond hole punch, you can easily add stitch holes on curved areas and rounded corners of your leather. The number that is engraved at the end of the handle refers to the size of the tool (space between tips of prongs) so you won't have a hard time choosing the right size for your work.

Use a soft-headed hammer to strike this tool and always pull the stitching chisel straight out of your leatherwork after punching, not in a side-to-side motion, as this might cause the prongs to snap.
Please keep in mind that the prongs on this tool are highly tempered, which makes them incredibly strong and and allows them to retain their shape for a long time. Tempering, however, also makes the prongs somewhat brittle, allowing them to break off rather than bend when damaged. While this may not seem ideal, it is a good design feature since the prongs will break off if they get misaligned, preventing permanent damage to your leatherwork from unnoticed bent prongs, which is a common occurrence with less expensive tools. Keep this tool away from other tools and items, and avoid dropping or striking it against a hard surface.
