Absolutely Superb Rare Small Antique Handcrafted English Victorian (1850s) 24ct Gold Gilded Porcelain Tureen, Ladle & Tray Set (7”/18cm, 800g).

Absolutely fantastic hand painted set. Very rare to find such an item in such superb condition. in excellent condition despite its age as shown in 12 sets of photographs attached. Please browse all photographs for size, weight and condition as they are self explanatory. This set is from an era when porcelain was only affordable by the wealthy and the aristocracy. Absolutely marvellous.

This set is well over 150 years old and pre dates the period where back stamping porcelain markings became normal and eventually somewhat mandatory. Fantastic set. Fit to grace the best of tables anywhere. The 24ct gold (999 gold) mark is visible on the reverse side of pieces as shown in the photograph. This was always a sign of quality for special pieces.
