Heir to four generations of Alsatian bakery and pastry-making tradition, Pierre Hermé is the only pastry chef to have been decorated as a Chevalier of Arts and Letters.

He was also the youngest person ever to be named France's Pastry Chef of the Year.

His many awards include the prestigious "Chevalier de la Légion d'honneur."

Before he started his own boutique, Pierre Herm worked for such acclaimed pâtissiers: Gaston Lenôtre, Fauchon, Ladurée. And we have visited them on our trips to Paris for their delicious pastries.

In addition to his pastry shops in Paris, London, Hong Kong, Japan, etc., he also directs two Michelin star awarded restaurants in Paris.
