With a cable that mimics a 3-strand plait, and instructions for the two different weight yarns, the Together beanies make a great matching pair. They’re worked flat, quick to knit and sized for everyone to enjoy.

For the DK version you will need 3.25mm and 4mm needles. I used Hayfield Baby Bonus DK in Elephant. Yarn quantities and sizes are:

Baby/small child, 15-17.5”/38-44cm, 50g/140m/153yds
Older child, 17.5-20”/44-50cm, 60g/168m/183yds
Small/med adult, 20-22”/50-56cm, 75g/210m/230yds
Large adult, 22-24”/54-59cm, 90g/252m/275yds

For the chunky version you will need 5mm and 6mm needles. I used Stylecraft Special Chunky in Mushroom. Yarn quantities and sizes are:

Baby/small child, 15-17.5”/38-44cm, 80g/115m/126yds
Older child, 17.5-20”/44-50cm, 90g/130m/141yds
Small/med adult, 20-22”/50-56cm, 110g/158m/173yds

All my patterns are my own original designs, based on over thirty years' experience, and are not commercially produced. You will receive clear instructions, with at least one image, printed clearly on 80gsm A4 paper and posted in a plastic wallet and card-backed envelope. To minimize postage times and costs your pattern will be folded into an A5 envelope.
