On Sunday, September 6th, 1936, the Chicago White Sox hosted the Cleveland Indians for a doubleheader at Comiskey Park.

This is an original Official Score Book (scorecard) from the first game of that doubleheader, scored in pencil, with an original raincheck.

The White Sox had an offensive explosion, beating the visitors, 15-1. They had 19 hits and were led by leftfielder Rip Radcliff, who went 4 for 6 and had six RBI. Ted Lyons was the winning pitcher, and Mel Harder was the losing pitcher.

It is a four page Score Book, there is a pencil notation above an ad on the second page, stray blue ink marks on the cover, all the corners are soft, toning, and there are no creases.

The raincheck is present and included. On the obverse it is numbered 00619, has the date of the game, the price of the Grand Stand admission---$1.10, which included ten cents in taxes---and the printed signature of the President of the White Sox, J. Louis Comiskey, Charles' son. There are horizontal blue ink lines drawn under the month, date, and year. Please look at the photographs in determining the condition of both items

On the reverse of the raincheck is a warning that "No Gambling Allowed" and that "Persons offering to make a bet on these grounds will be arrested."

Great graphics on two of the ads, one for Blue Valley Butter on the cover, and a stylish one on the back cover for  $40.00 Wall St. Suits found at the Maurice L. Rothschild Department Store located on State St. at Jackson.

USPS Ground Advantage shipping with tracking is $3.00.
