ROPT510 ®  is a Roll Over Protection Tube that has been created to serve Motorsport and other projects that may need to meet MSA and other safety regulations.

It has specifically been designed by ProFormance for use in Roll cages, Roll over hoops, chassis construction, suspension components and Motorsport preparation applications.

ROPT510 is a carbon-based cold drawn seamless with high strength, easy to form and great welding properties.

▪ Minimum Tensile Strength : 510 N/mm2

▪ Minimum Yield Strength : 370 N/mm2

▪ Minimum Elongation : 25%

Generic CDS such as E235+N  CFS360NBK and E235+C  CFS3BK will only contain one of these properties, which means compromising a loss in strength or a loss in formability in comparison.

E235 + N (CFS360NBK, CFS1)

• Minimum Tensile : 360 N/mm2 

• Minimum Yield : 235N/mm2

• Minimum Elongation : 25%

E235 + C (CFS3BK,  CDS2)

• Minimum Tensile : 480 N/mm2

• Minimum Yield : 384 N/mm2

• Minimum Elongation : 6%

The figures for ROPT510 exceed the MSA bluebook regulations and is used by the FIA for use in their rollover, crash impact and safety cell tests.
