measurements:  almost 6" at widest point x 1-1/2" tall;  weighs 12 ounces

National Brass & Iron Works (N.B.& I.W.) of Reading, PA.  This piece is marked and numbered on the back - 3138.  The National Brass and Iron Works of Reading PA was incorporated in 1891 and was out of business by 1911.  They specialized in art metal works.

Excellent condition,  No cracks or  breaks. Deep patina - the patina is rubbed off on small spot on the thumb.
